Diplomatic relations between Moldova and Israel

The diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the State Israel have been established in 1992 and oriented towards mutual assistance and support as well as towards developing the bilateral relations on various fields as political, economic and cultural. Besides promoting its national interest in its relations with Israel , Republic of Moldova pledge for respecting a basic principle in the international relations, which is the reciprocity. Thus, the 15 years diplomatic relations has forged the way of a mutual advantageous collaboration based on trust, mutual support and friendly ties between the two countries.

The current stage of Moldova-Israeli relations can be described by a considerable increase in the political dialogue, by improvement of bilateral legal base and by determination of new possibilities for the development of commercial and economic relations. After 2001 elections, as a result of strengthening political and economic stability in Moldova , the relations between our countries get the new impetus of development, which reflects the priorities of state bodies in the field of foreign policy and which is, to the equal degree, the result of political will of both countries to strengthen two-way communications in all fields.
