The Government has approved the Action Plan for 2006 – 2009 for supporting the Moldovan originals residing abroad.

On July 10, 2006 the Government of the Republic of Moldova has approved the Decision nr. 809 regarding the Action Plan for 2006 – 2009 for supporting the Moldovan originals residing abroad. The Plan expressly stipulates actions that have to be undertaken in order to provide protection to the Moldovan originals residing abroad, improve the educational system, consolidate and promote the Moldovan culture, language and traditions, provide support to the cultural organizations established by the Moldovan originals, provide social protection and promote trade and commercial activities.
