The Republic of Moldova participated at the “Israel Gateway 2008” exhibition

On 11 November 2008 the Republic of Moldova, trough her diplomatic mission in Tel – Aviv, was represented at Israel Gateway 2008 exhibition, key economic event of Prime Minister’s Conference attended by representatives from all continents.

Moldovan’s culture day in Israel

On September 15th, the "Moldovan’s culture day in Israel” was celebrated in Ashdod city. Cultural activities organized by the Moldovan Embassy in cooperation with the Association of Moldovan descendants “Izvorash” was devoted to celebrate 17 years of the proclamation of the Independence of our country.

Ambassador Larisa Miculet has made a visit to the city of Daliat El-Carmel at the invitation of the city mayor, Mr. Akram Hasson. The visit was occasioned by participation of Mrs. Miculet in the ceremony of farewell of the delegation of young from Ungheni, which was in Israel at the invitation of the municipality of Daliat El-Carmel during the 11 days.

First general meeting of the descendants of the Republic of Moldova living in the State of Israel

On June 9 , 2008, in the park of the Israeli city Hadera there was held the first general meeting of the descendants of the Republic of Moldova living in the State of Israel.

TV Moldova-International is now available via satellite

Starting from 2007, the TV-channel “Moldova – International” is on the air and is available for free reception via satellite all over Europe and eastern parts of Russia.

The Holy Fire brought to the Republic of Moldova

On April 26 2008, a delegation from the Republic of Moldova, led by the Archbishop of Dubasari and Tiraspol Iustinian, had a visit to Israel, with the purpose to take over the Holy Fire on the threshold of Easter holidays.

During the one day working visit in the State of Israel within the period 19-20th of March 2008, of the Deputy-minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Mr. Valeriu Ostalep, has signed the Program of Cultural, Educational and Scientific Cooperation between the Government of the State of Israel and the Government of the Republic of Moldova for the years 2008-2010.
